By confirming your commission and sending payment to @astrothermia - you are agreeing to the following Terms & Conditions;You agree to allow me to work within my own style and capabilities as I am still learning and refining my art. I reserve the right to decline any commission that I do not feel confident I can complete to my usual standard, or that I am otherwise uncomfortable undertaking.Work in progress images and basic commission information will be posted to the “Astrothermia Commission Queue” public board on Trello - this is to ensure your placement in the queue and to track the commission’s progression.There is no fixed turnaround time unless otherwise agreed upon with the customer. On average, commissions are completed within 2 weeks from the commencement of the piece. However, completion times may vary depending on the complexity of the artwork. Please keep in mind depending on current life events this may vary. Expected wait times will be discussed further upon the commission being accepted. If you require a piece by a certain deadline, please ensure that this is known before the commission is accepted as a rush fee may be enquired.WIP images will be sent during the sketching phase. Up to 2 full revisions of poses/rough sketches are permissible. Minor adjustments are unlimited unless stated otherwise through out the process.Once the line art phase has commenced, there are no further changes to be made to the sketch.If you require additional revisions beyond the limit and / or you have a change of mind during this stage, a fee of $5 per change will be requested.Colours used for your commission will be colour dropped from references you provide. Please ensure that all reference images are free from heavy shading or lighting to maintain colour accuracy. Providing your references confirm that the colours provided are accurate and approved prior to commencement.Minor colour / shading tweaks are allowed (within reason) when a full rendered piece is completed.If you are commissioning any physical art (PVC badges) - a WIP will be sent as normal as if it were a digital commission. Please note there cannot be any changes made once the artwork is completed and sent off to be manufactured.I reserve the right to post completed art pieces upon my socials/galleries and to use them as examples for future advertisements.Upon completion of your commission, you have the right to post / upload them for personal use only. All commissioned artwork is protected by copyright and must not be traced, copied, scanned, reproduced, or used to train or generate content for any AI program. My signatures and watermarks must remain intact on all commissioned works and may not be removed, altered, edited, cropped, or obscured in any manner.All commissions are not to be used for commercial purposes.
PAYMENT
Clients commissioning my work must be of legal age to use the selected payment platform or have a responsible adult complete the transaction on their behalf. As payment services enforce their own legal age requirements, I cannot accept liability for any breach of those terms.All prices are in AUD unless specified otherwise. Payment is required upfront before your commission is initiated. Tips are welcome and very much appreciated but not expected.Australian clients who have, or are eligible to open, a Beem account - may transact without incurring surcharge fees. Please note that users must be 16 years or older to hold an account and make purchases. I am not responsible for any breach of these terms or any resulting consequences.For all overseas / non-Australian commissioners, there may be a small fee to adjust for surcharge ranging from $1-$20 AUD. Thank you for understanding.
COMPLEXITY FEES
If I require additional time to complete a commission due to a characters complex design, the commission fee will be adjusted appropriately. This will be discussed prior to the acceptance of a commission, so there is no need for concern.
REFERENCES
A commission with no reference will not be accepted. All commissioners must supply a reference free from heavy shading or lighting to maintain colour accuracy. Providing your references confirm that the colours provided are accurate and approved prior to commencement.Complicated armour, weapons, including most clothing is not achievable at my current level. Small accessories may have an exception. Please enquire this upon requesting a commission.
COMPLIANCE
A commissioner is to be compliant with these Terms & Conditions in order to be accept for a commission. A commissioner is also to be compliant with adequate reply speed to ensure a steady pace in my workflow. Failure to comply may result in being pushed back into the queue or termination with or without a refund.
REFUNDS
I do my very best to ensure all clients are satisfied with their resulting art.If the art has been completed in full, you are not eligible for a partial or full refund. The commissioner is responsible to request adjustments to their commission during the WiP stages to ensure a satisfactory final result. Please do not hesitate to enquire any questions or changes you would like to be made done.If a refund is requested before the artwork has commenced, a full refund will be issued.If a refund is requested when an artwork has begun but not yet been completed, a partial refund will be calculated depending on how much of the commission is already completed.I reserve the right to recycle any incomplete pieces for any purpose I see fit - they will be modified to no longer resemble your character(s).If an unforeseeable event disallows me to continue your commission, depending on the circumstance a partial or complete refund will be issued accordingly.If I am unwilling to complete a commission due to the commissioner displaying; rude, disrespectful, and / or uncomfortable environment - the commission will be terminated and a refund may not be applicable.I reserve the right to cancel a commission at any point I deem necessary.
